Objectives of FOL

The objectives of Friends of Ludhiana (Christian Medical College), Australia.

Seek to promote and support the vision and goal of the Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab, India (CMCHL) whose purpose is to contribute to the health needs of India by educating medical and other health professionals, by promoting research and by providing high standard holistic community health services that reflect the Christian values and character of the institution.
Facilitate mutual exchange of staff and other interested persons between CMCL and Australia.
Facilitate elective placement for Australian Medical students at CMC Ludhiana, in furtherance of their medical education.
Encourage and facilitate Australian Medical and allied specialists to visit CMCL in mutually beneficial educational programs.
Raise money to further the aims of the Company and secure sufficient funds for the purposes of the Company.
Receive any funds and distribute these funds in a manner that best attains the object of the Company.
Create and maintain an Australian CMC Ludhiana alumni registry.
Create and maintain a Friends of Ludhiana Australia registry.
